I originate from a small farming community in Southern Africa which, in some way, leant to my keen interest in the abundant hues and grains in world cultures.
My career has moved me around the world – Beverley Hills, Budapest, Kinshasa, Kentucky, London, Sarajevo, Miami, Maputo, to name but a few locations. I’ve studied in the United States, the UK, South Africa and mainland Europe.
In England I live in a county parish surrounded by rolling green hills with the ocean but a few minutes away. In Belgium I similarly live in a village farming community, on the outskirts of the country's capital - both the kind of place where animals have right of way.
